This GUI offers explorer-like features for the IBM i / AS/400 file systems and allows users to maneuver the screen with the mouse or keyboard via buttons and tab panels.

System Upgrades

Q: We just did a system upgrade to our OS. The system serial number did not change and we did not change our LPAR configuration. What do I need to do to make sure DBU software functions correctly?

A: You will need to execute the command DBUSEC with the DBU software library in your library list, then verify that your access codes are presented and then <Enter> . This will write the DBU license information to the system's new license information repository. If you have changed system serial numbers or changed your LPAR configuration from Non-LPAR to an LPAR system, you will need to contact DBU Customer service for license transfer procedures or LPAR pricing options.
