Our shop is JDE EnterpriseOne 8.10 (the database is on the iSeries) with intergration into Oracle's Agile software (the database is on a Windows Server).  The data on the iSeries always needs updates that are manually done via STRSQL.  I would like to know how to create a DBU application that could take the feed from an excel spreadsheet and update the JDE database on the iSeries.  Is there a manual or documentation that discusses how to use DBUAPP?  Or, has anyone had a similar request?

Thanks,
Teri

Teri, our documentation details how to create a DBU Application.  DBU80 documentation is available at the following link:

http://www.prodatacomputer.com/dbuDoc/DBU80Doc.pdf

We also have a video presentation on how to create a DBU Application and more about our products at the following link:

http://www.prodatacomputer.com/demo.shtml

A DBU Application will not be able to pull data from an Excel spreadsheet.  The software that would provide the ability to pull data from the Oracle Agile system you referenced would be our latest software product RDB Connect.  RDB Connect is a collection of commands and functions allowing record level access to remote data using RPG, COBOL or CL.  More information about the RDB Connect software can be obtained from the following link:
